By Ashlie Bailey She felt alone and freezing.
It was dark and cold. She waited for the sun. She wasn’t very old. She was locked in a cage. Her age was far too young. She can’t remember how long she was in there. It could have been days. She was nearly frozen. Her dress had been undone. They had taken it from her. She wondered why she was chosen. She thought it was because she deserved what they had done. Her breath made frost in the air around her. She felt helpless and lost. She was called “little one.” Despair and death surrounded her. Too high a cost... It was early morning, almost dawn. The King burst through the veil. At last, He had found her. A horn sounded like a lion roaring. The Son had risen. The night was long. The King had come in riding on a white horse. He opened the gate of her prison. The darkness was finally gone. The King wore a purple cloak of zeal, And carried a sword and shield. He came to battle every darkness and right every wrong. The little girl began to kneel. The King draped her in a gown, white and pure. The King gave her a seal. He put on her head a crown. The girl finally got a second chance to sing a new song. No greater love had she ever known... of this she was sure. The little girl no longer felt alone. The King invited her to sit beside Him, Near the bottom of His throne. For Satan and all Christ’s enemies, Who dashed against the stones the innocents and the least of these, It would be better that a millstone was hung around their necks, And they were thrown into the depths of the seas. With His robe, the King adorned the little girl. In His arms, she went to sleep. For every little one who has ever fallen, Each little lost sheep, For almost an eternity, the angels would weep. For over a thousand years, the King mourned. I saw a little girl clothed like a field of lilies wrapped in His majesty. Even Solomon, in all his splendor, was not clothed as one of these. The little girl was clothed in strength and dignity, Wearing a sparkling long white dress. She wore a purple cloak of royalty, And in the kingdom became a little princess. In the King’s castle, the little girl was highly favored. Her innocence had been restored. It was the Father’s good pleasure to give to her the keys to the kingdom. Great was her recompense, her treasure, her reward. For where her treasure was, her heart was also. She stayed with the one who was clothed with the clouds, And on His head was a crown made from a rainbow. Like the birds of the air, The little girl no longer had need to keep in a storehouse seeds which will spoil, Nor the need to reap or sow. She had been given a second chance. From that moment forward, Like the lilies, She no longer spun or toiled. She spent eternity forever in a field of yellow flowers, Where she twirled and danced with the Lord.

By Ashlie Bailey Jesus never forgets the little lost sheep.
He watches over them when they are asleep. He hears all the crying of the little lambs. He is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the Great I am. He wipes away all their tears. He comforts them from their fears. None of His sheep will ever stay lost. He will always find them, no matter the cost. Each one of His sheep, Jesus will save. Just for them, His life He gave. Little lamb, look how far you’ve come. By trusting in Jesus, you’ve already won. Little warrior, look how brave you are. You have come such a long way, just look how far. The word of the Lord teaches you right from wrong. It will help you to grow, big and strong. You started out small. Look how much you've grown. In your own special way, you can make His name known. The Lord will be with you wherever you go. Look at the birds of the air: they do not reap or sow. Do not be afraid. You are worth more than you know. The very hairs on your head are all numbered, little sparrow. The Lord teaches you to use your arrows and bow. With Him, you can defeat your enemy and foes. One day the Lord will come back, riding on His white horse and saddle. With the help of Him and your sword, you can win any battle. By Ashlie Bailey Once upon a time..There was a princess,
